Christopher J. Destino is pleased to announce the successful completion of the sale of the property located at 13163 Flores Street in Santa Fe Springs, CA. Christopher and his partner Peter Sowa represented the Seller in this transaction which closed on 12/30/2016 for $2,150,000. The deal was ideally structured with a short contingency period and longer escrow so that the Seller was allowed maximum time to sell the property and successfully complete a 1031 Tax-Differed Exchange, buying another property out of state, in Arizona. Completing a 1031 Exchange is all about timing and working with a real estate team who understands the complexities and timeframes of such a transaction will help you in completing your 1031 Exchange properly. Please inquire for details on this transaction or other deals completed by Christopher and his team. The end of the year is upon us. With all the hustle and bustle that normally takes place this time of year, I wanted to share a few thoughts with you. No matter your race, sex, religion, creed, age or stage of life, this is a time of year that is for reflection on the best, for recounting of blessings, and for thinking about what lies ahead. But even more important, it is a time for friends, family and those close to you to enjoy a meal, good conversation, and some pleasant time together; perhaps a little football too! Maybe you are missing someone dear to you this year; be glad for the time you had with them. Perhaps this year has been particularly challenging and difficult; be hopeful for better days ahead. Maybe this has been a successful year for you; be thankful for the blessings in your life. Life moves at such a fast pace, especially here in southern California, so I hope that in this holiday season you have opportunity to slow down just a little and enjoy the simpler and yet significant things in life. There will always be time for shopping and presents, parties and events, to-do’s and checklists, but what really matters in life is relationships and sharing the time we have with those around us. I hope you have time this holiday season to enjoy the relationships in your life, even the hard ones. With that said, I want to thank you for being a client, colleague, friend or family member who has allowed me to be a part of your life. I look forward to all that is in store for you in the coming days, months and years, and to being able to help you in any way that I can. I hope you can take time this season to pause and thank God for His blessings on your life. Thank you for reading my blogs; I look forward to having more insightful commercial real estate information to share with you in the New Year!! Happy Holidays, Happy Thanksgiving, Happy New Year, and Merry Christmas!! |
